• The airline permits up to 3 characters in first, middle, and last names for change. It is to be noted that it is not 3 characters for first, middle, and last names, but 3 characters altogether. 
• For spelling mistakes in name, correction includes addition or deletion of nicknames or inverted names.
• The airline considers legal name changes in cases of court decrees, marriages, divorces, etc.
• Frontier Airlines does not allow name change requests in case of – booking through frequent mileage points, ticket transfer to some other passenger; it further does not allow change in Passenger Type Codes (PTC), Date of Birth (DoB), or correcting the name of infant after the issue of ticket.
• After the Airlines completes the correction request, they will issue a new PNR and void the previous one, processing it for a refund. They will give passengers a fare difference if there is one.
• Frontier Name Change Policy will apply to restricted as well as unrestricted fares, category of service, passenger, and cabin selected.

Online Frontier Name Change Process

Online name can be changed by following these steps:

• On the site flyfrontier.com, click on the menu “Manage Booking”.
• Type the 6 digit booking reference along with the passenger’s last name, and click ‘Submit’ to move further.
• To proceed, click on the tab “Change Name”. You can change up to a maximum of 3 characters in first, middle and last names altogether and not 3 characters each in first, middle, and last names. 
• Type the name correctly in the required field. In certain cases, passengers are also required to attach a copy of the government issued id.
• Pay the Name Change Fare along with the difference in fare if it is there at the checkout page.
• Once the Airlines completes the request, it will send a new booking confirmation containing the correct name on the registered email of the passenger.

Name Change Over the Phone

Dial the phone of Customer Care and wait for the executive to respond.

• Provide your booking reference of 6 digits that will allow customer care executives to access your booking details.
• Enquire whether your booking is eligible for name change or not.
• The executive may ask for a government issued id for authentication.
• Pay the required Name Change Fare along with any fare difference via credit/debit card.
• Once the Airlines completes the request, it will send a new booking confirmation containing the correct name on the registered email of the passenger.

Change Name at the Airport

Passengers can reach the nearest Frontier Airlines office or the counter of the airport ticket.

• Confirm the details of flight confirmation, and request the executive for the change or the correction of your name.
• As per the policy, passengers can request name change or correction, 3 hours prior to scheduled departure.
